Vitali Rosen
Vitali Rosen is a Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Fellow, and Approved Clinical Supervisor with the Canadian Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. He has extensive experience working with couples using Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Couples (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy for Couples (SFT). The approach is centred in the present, identifying solutions and keeping couples therapy short term. The past is explored only when necessary, with the goal of moving on in the present, rather than going in circles in the past.
Vitali began working with couples, providing marriage counselling and couple therapy at the University of Guelph in 2007. In 2008, he opened his private practice in Vaughan, where he has been helping couples ever since.
He is happily married and a father. His personal experience as a husband and parent deepens his understanding of the complex dynamics involved in couple and family relationships, and informs his thoughtful, grounded approach to therapy.
